How to know the IP Address of Qsee cameras?

Applies to: All Qsee IP cameras

 

Method 1: Search through the NVR to get the camera IP address. (Applicable to Qsee NVR system kit purchase)

Method 2: Obtain the camera IP address automatically during initial login. (For standalone IP camera purchase)

Method 3: Obtain the camera IP address manually. (For standalone IP camera purchase)

 

Firstly, please ensure the camera is powered on and connected to the network through an Ethernet cable as shown below.

Method 1:

Log in to your NVR. Click on "Main Menu" > "Camera" > "Search". The searched devices will be listed in the Online Equipment section.

Note: The camera's default password is "admin123" or "blank". If you've changed the password, you must enter the correct password to avoid login errors. For more information, please refer to: How to Enter the Camera Password in the Qsee NVR System?

 

Method 2:

Step 1: Log in to the Qsee Client. The client will automatically search for and add devices on the LAN during the initial login.

 

Step 2: Click the "Settings icon" to access the camera settings page.

 

Step 3: Navigate to "Network Settings" to find the camera's IP address.

 

A "Connected" status indicates the camera is functioning properly. Click the Play button to preview the camera feed.

Method 3:

On Subsequent Client Launches, you need to manually search for added cameras.

 

Step 1: Login to your Qsee Client and click the "Add icon" to access the camera add page.

 

Step 2: Click "Refresh" to initiate a camera search.

Step 3: Select the discovered camera, input the password (default: admin123 or blank), and click "OK" to complete the addition.

 

A "Connected" status indicates normal camera operation. Click the Play button to preview the camera feed.
