Need a comprehensive User Manual That tells me how to program the cameras to easily record and playback etc. The ONLINE is not sufficient enough.

Like my new DVR. Used my old cables to cameras. DVR so easy to install and activate. Have not installed the new cameras yet but the old ones worked too. Installing the app on a smart phone is very easy too and uncomplicated unlike the old system. ♥️ it. Thank you.

So far, so great! This DVR is a great replacement for my older Q-See DVR. I installed the Qsee 5MP 8-Channel 2TB Hybrid DVR Recorder QH08052DRDVR last week. The set up program is different and I am still trying to learn how it works. It appears to be working/recording properly. The play back feature is harder to understand in comparison, so I will have to take some time to learn the new system, icons, and settings. BUT This is a true Hybrid DVR. Currently using a computer or WIFI is not an option for us, so I set up using the Analog version. I did not have to link to my computer or use any WIFI settings to turn it on and get it working. When we upgrade next year, we will already have this DVR and simply switch from Analog to the newer programs. A HUGE Thank You to Amy/Qsee Representative, for helping me and answering all of my inquires before I made this purchase.

I haven’t gotten anything yet. Still waiting.

I will say the customer service is great…but so far I still have not received the recorder….. I dont understand why it is taking close to two weeks to deliver

We just received our system on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023. We hooked it up that day. we've had some issues using old equipment and the new equipment together. We've had to reboot the system a couple of times over the weekend. I think that it will be a good fit after we get the bugs worked out. We bought this to replace another Qsee system, that went out on the church during the summer.

My mom has been nagging me to install a security camera system at her home. She doesn't live far away, and her house is in a very safe neighborhood where nothing ever happens. In fact, her area is older than mine, and most of the residents have been there for many years, but she says she'd feel better with some cameras.
This system was an excellent pick for that purpose, and I ordered it. With four PoE wired cameras and 24/7 recording, you get a lot for your money. It has the essential functions of a system like this, like as night vision and remote access. The remote access is useful because it allows me to reassure her that nothing is wrong while I'm away. Really, the video quality--whether at night or during the day--is really good for the price and better than several substantially more costly items I've used.
Setup with effortless PoE, but I recommend using a PoE switch rather than connecting it directly to the router. Overall, a pretty nice system at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommended!

It took me a while to set up as I wanted to monitor my office space.
Be Aware: THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE A HARD DRIVE. As a result, you must prepare your own hard drive. The support crew was helpful and sent me HDD installation instructions.
Aside from that, the performance is fine, the video is clear, and the night vision works well. If you know what you're getting into, it's a great value for the money.

When I saw that the product description for this camera includes both (subject) tracking and remote pan/tilt functions, I was surprised. These capabilities are difficult to find in a camera at this price point, so I got one to see how well it functioned.
The instruction pamphlet that comes with this camera calls on users to download their app by scanning a QR code provided or by visiting the "Qsee Smart Home" app from the Apple or Google app stores. Launch the app, then configure the camera by watching the website's tutorial video.
Image quality was/is adequate for a 3MP sensor, although there were no obvious variations when I switched between the app's "HD" and "SHD" options.

This was simple to configure with the Qsee app. I was able to put it up quickly and easily. For such a small camera, the image quality was quite good. I can move the camera to see what I want to see. It also includes a "speak" feature, so I can communicate with everyone in the room. I'll need to try it from a different location to check whether everything is still operating well. So far, I'm happy with this product.

After having some issues with changing my older Q-see DVR to the new one. Customer support went to the extreme to help me and satisfy my needs. I would buy from them again, thank you!
